Purpose
The ABI Cargo/Entry Response screen (also known as File Transmission Results) shows the full ACE/ABI response for a specific transmission. It includes the transmitted data summary and the ACE response with message type and message id/description so you can troubleshoot and print a hardcopy.

Header Fields

| File Number | Enter your File Number (e.g., 01.0000376) |
| Entry No | System will display your Entry number |
| Sort By (A/D) | Enter Sort order of listed responses: Ascending or Descending |
| SE No | Shipment/Event reference where present |
“ACE Response” Section
Shows the official ACE response timestamp and responding system. The response repeats key message id/description values and may include follow‑up hints from CBP.
- Date/Time/By — when the response was received and from which system (e.g., ABI).
- Message ID / Description — the decisive message (e.g., 270 – TRANSACTION DATA REJECTED).
- Free‑text advisory — CBP may include guidance (e.g., “VERIFY ARRIVAL DATE”).

| RETURN | To return to File Number field to view another file. |
To print this manual page, use the Print button in the header (top‑right). To print the ACE response, use H on the application screen.
Typical Workflow
- Enter your File# then select A for Ascending or D for Descending Order
- Review ACE InBond Response for message type/id and any advisory text.
- If rejected:
- Open the source screen (e.g., In‑Bond Update or In‑Bond Entry or Entry Summary), correct data, and retransmit.
- Use AMS/Cargo Query for upstream bill/manifest research if needed.
- Review the Appropiate "Trouble shooting" Section at the Introduction of each Module
- Print hardcopy via H for audit, if required.
