Foreign Trade Zone — Main Menu

The Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) module is used to create, transmit, update, print, and manage FTZ admissions and related Customs processing through ABI.

Users can create FTZ admissions, transmit data electronically to CBP, print CBP Form 214 documentation, review ABI responses, perform admissions and PTT transfers, manage delivery orders, and produce operational and Customs reporting.

  • FTZ Processing: Create and maintain FTZ admission transactions.
  • ABI Integration: Batch transmit FTZ admissions and review CBP responses.

FTZ Entry Options

FTZ Entry Options are used to create, update, transmit, print, and manage FTZ admission records with CBP.

Delivery Orders are commonly used to authorize movement or release of merchandise within the FTZ operational workflow.

ABI Inquiry Options

  • 7. Check ABI Transmission: Review all ABI transmissions and Customs responses.
  • 8. Check ABI Individual File Response: Review ABI responses for a specific FTZ shipment or file.

These inquiry functions are used to monitor transmission status, review Customs acknowledgements, and troubleshoot rejected or pending transactions.

  • 10. Disposition Report: Print the current Customs disposition status of FTZ shipments.
